Hello, folks, Paul here with another tobacco review for you. This is for Afzal Bombay Pan Masala. I have reviewed their Pan Masala Supreme in the past and given it a pretty solid rating. I’m gonna go ahead and give this one a good rating, too. It is definitely a spiced flavor. It is a more classic style of flavor that might not appeal to everyone, but if you enjoy spiced tobaccos, I definitely suggest checking this one out.
It’s very hard to describe the flavors that I’m getting out of this. There is a distinctively mild minty note. It is very mild. It is not as pungent, it’s not as cooling as in Pan Masala Supreme and I think it is more of a background note. I know that some people have problems with the mintiness of this. They were kind of surprised by it and they didn’t think it sat well with them. I really like this. I’m enjoying the flavor. I think it’s really good. It’s a nice combination of mellow spices. This is not as in-your-face and over-the-top as some other Pan Masala flavors and it’s really hard to pick out anything in particular.
As you can tell, the clouds are good. This tobacco can survive a fair amount of heat and produce really good solid flavors. There is a bit of cinnamon, there’s maybe a little bit of cardamom. No clove to speak of.
It’s mildly sweet. There’s what I would consider maybe some light molasses notes in the background. It is not an overly sweet flavor. This is very much a dry flavor, so it’s just a little sweet. Yeah, I’m really not too sure what to say about this one, other than the fact that I really enjoy it. I think it’s worth a try if you like spiced flavors and I would really love to hear some other opinions on this one because it is such a unique and strange flavor.
Yeah, so that’s about it. This is definitely a positive review. I know it’s a little bit discordant, a little bit, I don’t know, nondescript because this one is just so hard to pin down.
