Shisha Tobacco Cut: Typical Tangiers, dark, medium cut. Very wet. No dyes.
Hookah Type: KM double trimetal. Nammor hose
Duration: 1 hour but could have gone for more easily.
Bowl: Small funnel
Foil / Screen: Regular foil doubled up.
Coal / Amount: 3 or 4 CH QL coals
Smoke: Thick, dense clouds. Strong smoke texture. Not a beginners tobacco. ROBUST!
Buzz: Beastly. Tangiers is known for it’s buzz and this does not fall short.
Smell / Flavor: Smells like strong rose and a bit of molasses. The flavor varies from fresh roses to lemon and rose together.
Rating (1 to 10): 7.5 I like it. The only problem is that the smoke texture can be too much for some people. This tobacco takes some tending to keep it smoking right. Sometimes the flavor is wonderful and other times it’s a bit too strong of a rose flavor and molasses. Bear in mind this is well acclimated Tangiers and it’s packed properly. It’s just a finicky tobacco. If you want a good rose flavor then this isn’t half bad. There are better roses that take less work to get smoking right. When it does smoke perfectly the nice balance of rose and lemon is good. I just wish the lemon was more prominent.
