You folks asked for it and I am more than happy to provide. Here are my picks for the Top 5 Al Fakher Flavors and I’m damn sure you won’t agree with all of them. Let’s jump right in.

1. Golden Eskandarani Apple

I may have talked about this flavor more than any other on the list. It’s a sweet and slightly sour apple flavor with a well balanced floral note that is reminiscent of the flavor found in the skins of green apples. This is the only green apple flavor on the market that I confidently suggest. It’s delicious and one of my all time favorites.

2. Golden Rose

Speaking of all time favorites, this is the rose against which I compare all others. A strong rose flavor without being soapy. There is a lemony, citrus note the both compliments and balances the rose while adding a level of accuracy that I truly appreciate. I’ve eaten rose petals before and that citrusy bite is a real element in the flavor. An absolute must have for any fan of rose flavors.

3. Gum Mastic

Before there was Bazooka there was Mastic. The sticky tree resin used as chewing gum has a somewhat pine like flavor with a distinctly vegetal note and a unique profile that is very interesting. This is then mixed with the sweet mint of modern gum as the past present hold hands. Fanciful wording aside, this is a damn tasty hookah tobacco that too many people overlook because it’s unfamiliar and weird. Don’t pass on this one.

4. Mint

Speaking of mint, Al Fakher mint is one of the pillars of the hookah world. It’s not the strongest, most realistic, most chilling or interesting mint in the world but it’s so well balanced that it’s worth keeping around. Most other mints shine as either mixers or standalone flavors but this one shines equally in both roles. A bit on the sweet side without being a truly candied flavor. A favorite mint for many.

5. Cardamom

This is a very strong and accurate cardamom flavor that won’t be pleasant to everyone but will be game changing to a few. Spicy with an almost peppery note and slight, almost minty element that’s hard to even describe. It’s not quite menthol but there is something in the same family of sensations. Do not go into this one lightly and don’t expect something sweet and dessert like. Combine this with Al Fakher mint for something I call Vicks-o-tussin. Opens up the sinuses

And there you have it. What do you think? What have I missed? What haven’t I tried that will knock something off my list? Let us know in the comments and I’ll make sure to check out each and every one.
