Scented charcoal

Question

I came across an old thread reviewing a scented charcoal but can't find anything newer. I find it doesn't matter if I use quick lighting charcoal or natural stuff, the house has a lingering smell of charcoal smoke afterward.

Not nice; so I tried one drop of essential oil on my charcoal. Gets rid of that smoky smell and you know once you can taste the essential oil that your sheesha is all vaporized and you're beginning to inhale charcoal smoke.

Having used natural coals for a long time I can definitely smell the quick burning ones when smoking a hookah with quick burn coals on it

I'm not saying natural coals smell the same as quicklights. The latter is definitely more ... chemical. However both emit smoke whereas the tobacco is more vapors. Dropping essential oil on either charcoal, to my nose, produces a less "smoky" smell.
