Picture viewing

So ive noticed this has been happening. But on my galaxy s3 i noticed I cant view certain gifs . Was wondering if any other galaxy owners are experiencing similiar problems...

Any idea which type of images? Are they mostly in older threads or do you have the same issue even in newer threads?
