Fantasia is probably the most modern styled brands that you will find on the market today. It’s dripping in juice and I am not even entirely sure that it actually includes molasses. This is not a brand for people that like tobacco. That being said it’s pretty good. It’s just really pricey.
Fantasia focuses almost entirely on desserts and mixed drink flavored blends. Everything from cotton candy to tequila sunrise. One of their best flavors is margarita. They do citrus very well. Especially lime. It is far from a natural lime and more of a lime candy but they employ it well in many of their drink flavored tobaccos.
Nowadays, when you go to a bar and order a margarita you will be getting a super sugary drink made with artificially flavored margarita mix and tequila. It is hard to find a place that will take the time to make a classic margarita. It’s easier to just use a premixed concoction and add tequila. That’s what you get from Fantasia Margarita. It’s sweet and (oddly) slightly salty. There is a flavor that could be described as a weak tequila in the background and I think that works. I don’t even like the flavor of real tequila so the prospect of smoking it for an extended period of time is not a very pleasing thought. As with all Fantasia the clouds are massive and the heat management needed is minimal. These are both results of the extremely wet nature of the tobacco.
The price is prohibitive. I would be a fairly regular smoker of Fantasia (mostly pumpkin spice) if it were not so damn expensive. on average you will pay around 19 dollars for a 200g pack of Fantasia. That translates into roughly 24 dollars per 250gs which is more expensive than even Starbuzz. Even higher than Fumari.
7 out of 10. I would have rated this with an eight if it were not for the price. I like Fantasia as a change of pace once in a while from the more classic stuff but I am not really one to enjoy candy on a regular basis. If you want something sweet and tasty that is good for the new smoker and people who want nothing but candyish flavors then Fantasia will do the job.
