This medium sized vase is very well made and feels astoundingly heavy for its size. The glass is thick and the designs are very cool. I’m not a huge fan of the Social Smoke logo around the neck of the vase but it’s not a deal breaker. Don’t buy this vase for your large Khalil Mamoon hookahs because it won’t fit. It’s not tall enough. This vase works best on medium hookahs like the Magdy Zidan Pro Series.
The dragon design is etched directly into the glass and is not painted on. This means that there is no chance of it rubbing off over time or flaking like the paint on some vases. This etched surface also makes for a very cool effect. When you fill up this vase it makes it look like the water inside has turned the color of the glass. I have the green version and it’s a neat effect.
All in all I’d say that this is a great vase if you like the tribal dragon design. It’s very solid and does not seem like it’s going to break very easily. I have not tested the durability of this vase and I don’t plan to. Do your own tests on this piece of glass. It’s not a cheap vase at 32 dollars but you are not getting a shoddy piece of glass with bubbles and faults. I wish it was a little cheaper and came in more designs but I think that this is a nice vase to have as a part of any collection. With 4 different color options you should be able to find one that fits your color scheme.
